R. Michael Vang, is a member of Fleener & Vang, LLC in Laramie, Wyoming. Mr. Vang received his undergraduate degree in political science from the University of Wyoming, which he attended while on a debate scholarship. Mr. Vang was one of only two college debaters named to the United States Debate Team, which competed in Great Britain in the Spring Semester of 1990.
Mr. Vang graduated from the University of Wyoming College of Law in 1994. Mr. Vang is a Sustaining Member and State Delegate for the National College of DUI Defense. Mr. Vang is a frequent lecturer on the subject of DWUI laws for the Wyoming Trial Lawyers Association and has presented lectures on DUI laws for the Institute for Continuing Legal Education in Georgia and the North Carolina Trial Lawyers Academy. Mr. Vang has handled over 150 criminal jury trials, with many more cases being resolved prior to trial. Mr. Vang has presented numerous appeals before the Wyoming Supreme Court and is licensed to practice in all Wyoming Courts, the Wyoming Federal District Court, and the United States Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals.
